Every team figure on this page is counted from real results in the top five European leagues.
Put both teams on the map. Two sides from the "open games" corner — scoring and conceding more than average — point towards Over 2.5 and BTTS. Two sides from the "tight games" corner point towards Under 2.5 and low correct scores. A dominant side against a leaky one points towards a home or away win, often with a clean sheet.
Two teams whose matches regularly produce three or more goals. Check both sides' Over 2.5 rate over a decent sample, not just the last two games, then look at team news: a missing striker or a first-choice goalkeeper returning can change the picture quickly.
Both teams need to score, so start with each side's scoring rate and the opponent's clean-sheet rate. A team that keeps clean sheets often is the biggest red flag for BTTS, even if the other side is in good form.
When a strong defence meets a weak attack. Look for a team conceding well under one goal a game facing an opponent that scores below the league average. Arsenal currently has the best clean-sheet rate of the teams on this page at 51%.
Use the same profiles, just with more precision. Estimate how many goals each team is likely to score, shortlist the two or three most likely scorelines, and for HT/FT consider whether the favourite tends to start fast or finish strong.
Faster than the numbers show. The profiles here blend the last full season with the current one, so they move gradually. A new manager, a key signing or a long injury can shift a team from open to tight — or dominant to leaky — within weeks, so give recent matches extra weight when something big has changed.
